With stems or stemless: What's the difference?
The stick changes the intensity, performance and how to cover the bombilla.
In the package you will always see: with stems, stemless or stemless. That's no minor detail.
With stems
- It's the most common in Argentina. He's got ground leaves and sticks.
- The stick softens the taste and helps the water run: the bombilla will cover less.
- More balanced taste, ideal for daily mate.
Stemless or stemless
- Almost everything's leaf (and fine powder). That's the Uruguayan style.
- More intense and bitter with a lot of body.
- It's good but it's good to have a spring bombilla so it doesn't cover up.
What to choose?
- If you like a friendly and lasting mate: with stems.
- If you're looking for intensity and character: stemless.
- Don't you know? Test one of each and compare: at Yerbapp you can mark them as tested and compare their taste profile.
