History of Flor de Jardín
It's the brand of the Garden Flower Cooperative, founded on 3 November 1973 at Colonia Sol de Mayo, near Garden America, by 36 immigrant Yebatero producers from Poland, Japan and Germany. The dryer and the yebatero mill were its founding pillars.
Background
In addition to its brand, it provides yerba canchada to large mills such as Playadito and Piporé and since the 2001 crisis it has been diversified with cheeses, chocfamilios and sweets that it sells throughout the country.
