History of Playadito
It was drawn up by the Agricultural Cooperative of the Liebg Colony, founded on 19 December 1926 by German, Ukrainian and Polish immigrants in the north of Corrientes. For years she had been selling yerba canchada to other mills, to launch her own brand, that takes the name of the Playadito place, inside the same colony.
Background
Since the 1990s it has been established among the leading brands of Argentina and in the last few years became the best selling yerba in Argentina. The co-operative brings together about 133 producers and more than 4,000 hectares of Yebal.
