History of Monte Nativa
It was built by the Monte Nativa Agricultural Cooperative, a core of producers from El Soberbio, in the Yaboty Biosphere buffer area, founded in 2012 with an agroecology focus. They cultivate yerba in agroforestry systems with native, turmeric and ginger trees. yerba is a qzx2 and secator with a 3-year-old ribbon.
